Term 2 - Week 3
Principal's Message
Dear Parent/Carers,
As a school community this year we have been working hard to limit the impact of the Covid pandemic. As a school, we have maintained all our classes and programs to a large extent, thanks to the diligent efforts of our students, staff, parents and carers as we follow the health protocols of mask wearing, physical distancing and hand sanitising. The borders are open and at the moment mask wearing is no longer mandated which has given many of us a feeling of getting back to normality.
However, we are still experiencing Covid cases amongst students and staff and we will continue to do our very best to minimise its impact on our school community. My sincere thanks to the many parents and carers who have ‘kept us in the loop’ about your children and families’ health status and we would like you to continue to do this as it will help us to limit the impact of Covid in our school community. The information coming out in the media at times can be confusing at times so like all things school related it is more and more important to check out our Facebook and Website for the most up to date and official information.
As staff we have had a great start to the term with a professional learning day focussing on three of our priority areas of Team Teach, Primary Behaviour Support and PODD communication system all of which align with our School Values of Respect, Relationships and Resilience.
Thank you again for keeping the lines of communication open and strong. As we navigate our way through these ever-changing times, please continue to update your contact details with the front office if needed and ensure you keep in touch with your class teacher.
Kind Regards,
Gary Hobson
