Principal Article
Welcome back,
I hope this newsletter finds you all in good health and high spirits. As we welcome the new school year, I would like to take this opportunity to share some exciting updates and developments taking place at our Centre.
First and foremost, we are delighted to announce that our team has expanded with the addition of highly experienced and qualified educators. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and skills, which we are confident will further enhance the quality of education and support we provide to our students.
As always, our Centre continues to offer a wide range of educational programs to cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students. Our team of dedicated educators strives to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all.
In addition to our regular programs, we are excited to launch a series of new initiatives this year. These include workshops with our onsite speech pathologists and AUSLAN (sign) classes for our students from years 3 - 6.
At our Centre, we believe in the importance of fostering a strong sense of community among our students, educators and staff. We will be organising various social and cultural events throughout the year, which will provide opportunities for all to come together and connect.
As always, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality of education and support. We welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have to further improve our services.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another successful year at Westminster Education Support Centre.
New staff
Jessica Callaghan, Mehdia Ghaznawi, Layla Ali, Juliet Ong and Marinella Vaccari have joined our wonderful team. A big welcome back to Esther Rose who has returned after a year off.
Policy reminder
As per the Department of Education’s guidelines, students who arrive after 9am or leave before 2:30pm are required to be signed out at the office. This is important as we are a large Centre and need to know where all students are, at all times during school hours. Brooke will set you up with a quick pin so it will only take a couple of seconds to sign your child in /out.
Kind Regards,
Carmen Lopez
